Rosemary
Gibbes, passed away on January 28, 2006. Many of us remember Rosemary
as the woman who helped make our college career happen. She was
the one person who made sure we did our college applications and
she made sure the colleges of our choice received our Hudson records.
Rosemary began her career as the Records Secretary at Hudson High
School on September 4, 1958. After 42 years of service in the
same job, she retired on June 30, 2000.
There is a scholarship being established in Rosie's name through
the Hudson Endowment Fund. Details will be posted on the site
as they become available.
A memorial service was held at the First Congregational Church
of Hudson.
The following is her obituary as printed in the Akron Beacon Journal.
